THE INFO

Hello, I'm Satara and this is the part where I tell you a bit about myself and how I got into writing. Through if I did that I am sure you'd read a few sentences and then decide to skip this section altogether. Not going to lie, I love to write, but just as anyone else I got my start by writing as a child. There's just not much to tell. Yet now if you what to know why I created this blog, I can go on for days. I'm originally from Seattle, Washington, and have lived in the city all my life. I started this blog a few weeks after I turned 21, hence the name. Through now I am currently an account manager at an advertising firm in San Francisco.

Being a young adult has been quite a unique adventure, one minute you're happy and enthused with life, the next minute you're saying fuck it to the world. Honestly, it just depends on the mood.

Therefore, after a few years of college life, I felt that there was something to be said about the experiences one faces while figuring out how to "Adult". With that, the idea of this blog came to mind. 21 and Young, is the blog where one can go to unwind, take a step back, and feel like they are a part of a community. This blog is meant to consider the lifestyle of the young, and the trends that seem to be influencing the greater population.
